My name is Elizabeth, a qualified relational/integrative therapist, experienced in delivering face to face and online therapy to young people and adults. I am warm, caring and interested in people, meaning ensuring non-judgmental, inclusive and affirmative space for you to explore whatever aspect of your life or experience you wish. As an integrative psychotherapist, I draw from several approaches of therapy to ensure offering you a counseling experience that works better with your needs. I also draw from creative and psycho-dynamic approaches that may take you back to early experiences and significant life events, on how they may have shaped your thoughts, beliefs and behavior. There are times in life when challenges and problems may begin to take control over our lives, leaving us stuck, confused in crisis, and in these times it is important to talk to a therapist. Therefore, therapy can be helpful at any point in your life by supporting you to build understanding, to yourself, others and the world around your insight and to develop new ways to live .I will be interested in how you feel and relate with yourself and others.

Elizabeth has been such a fantastic source of positivity and growth in my life. Since the beginning of this year I have been having a really tough time and continue to face challenges, and throughout all of it Elizabeth has been a calming source of reassurance as well as a great teacher. She brought me back from a crisis situation to a state of neutrality and gave me the tools to continue on with my personal improvement. I can not recommend Elizabeth enough.

Although I am only about a month in my therapy sessions with Elizabeth Gichuki, I can confidently say that these sessions have already created the foundation I was looking for in improving my mental health. She is a patient and careful listener and guides me successfully towards new ways of thinking and encourages my self-discovery journey. I particularly appreciate her compassion and willingness to dive into more complex subjects without judgement, also taking into consideration all that I tell her. The worksheets she provides have also proved to help improve my understanding of the things I struggle with.
If you’re looking for a therapist who is an active, compassionate and receptive listener, and who can guide you towards a healthy mindset, Elizabeth is a lovely candidate.
Thank you for your work!

I had the great fortune of being matched with Elizabeth as my first BetterHelp therapist, during a period of intense flux personally.
As a queer Kenyan living in the UK, working with a Kenyan femme therapist provided me with what can only be described as the opportunity to heal old wounds at home, away from home. Would highly recommend her for queer individuals from a Kenyan or broader African experience, and beyond that, commend her on her expertise in referrals where one might need even more specialist guidance. Asante sana!

Elizabeth has been so helpful to me. I prefer her style of therapy where she engages you as a human . She listens and lets me get things off my chest but then follows up with a story or anecdote that really helps me put my experiences into perspective. This has been so positively affirming to me and my mental health has improved so much as a result of her counselling. I would recommend her very highly.
