About me

Hi! Are you feeling stuck? Are you ready to work on the barriers that are limiting your life satisfaction? I'm here to help! I am a professional counselor licensed in the state of Texas with over a decade of experience working as a counselor and life coach. I am a whole person centered therapist and have worked with clients with a wide variety of concerns including depression, anxiety, mood and bi-polar disorders, career challenges, OCD and spiritual concerns. I also work with fellow professionals struggling with compassion fatigue.

My counseling style is one of unconditional regard and respect. I create an atmosphere of warmth, acceptance, and joy; modeling hope and positive outlooks for the future and integrating faith if you wish. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, mindfulness, narrative and internal family systems counseling as appropriate. Secondarily I also will help you to examine physical habits, such as nutrition, and their possible affects on mood and behavior as appropriate. I will tailor our time together and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs and goals.

Change can be difficult. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you and to be your cheerleader!

I look forward to working with you!

Elizabeth Oldham is an amazing counselor. She is the second counselor I have had with BetterHelp. My first counselor was good, but we didn't really match up very well. With Elizabeth, I fee completely understood. I wish everyone could have her on their side.

Elizabeth Oldham is an amazing Christian counselor that was almost immediately able to identify the areas I needed assistance with. The books she has referred as well as the ways that she has incorporated faith into our sessions has been a blessing. I have struggled to find a counselor in the past that I felt comfortable enough to open up to but when I met her I was able to let my guard down.
