About Me

I am a clinical mental health counselor and addiction specialist licensed in North Carolina with over 6 years of experience working as a substance use and trauma counselor. Additionally, I am a certified neuro-linguistic programming practitioner. I primarily work with clients who have experienced traumatic or burn injury and/or substance use related medical complications requiring hospitalization, so I often work with clients to address the wide range of concerns that come with acute hospitalization including post-traumatic stress disorder, crisis, grief and loss, caregiver fatigue, identity issues, rehabilitation, depression, and anxiety.

My counseling style is strength-based and solution-focused. I believe you have resources within yourself to achieve your goals, and my work is to help you access those. My client-centered approach combines various theoretical orientations and interventions to create a process and treatment plan to meet your individual needs.

It takes courage to even make it to where you are in this moment. I'm grateful you are exploring options to improve your quality of life, and I would be honored to be a part of your journey!
