About me

My name is Ellen Levine and I am a therapist specializing in co-occurring disorders, mental health and substance use treatment. I have been working in the co-occurring field for 20 years in a community mental health and substance use agency. I am a 2001 graduate of St. Louis University, Master of Social Work. I have my LCSW and also carry credentials for substance use disorders, CCDP-D, including an understanding of Medication Assisted Treatment.
I use a warm personable style that is free of judgement. I have enjoyed working in community mental health. It has given me the opportunity to work with a group of people, from diverse socio-economic, racial, ethnic and cultural backgrounds. I understand the need for individuals to have a safe space in which to process thoughts and feelings with a solution oriented approach. I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to assist with symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma and mood dysregulation. I will tailor our dialog to meet your unique and special needs.
It takes real courage to take this step, to seek a more fulfilling and happier life. If you are ready to take this step, then I would be honored to assist you on your journey.
