About me
I am a clinical counselor with specializations in trauma, mindfulness and art therapy. I have worked with a wide range of individuals from all different backgrounds, ages, and walks of life. I have treated a large spectrum of concerns including depression, anxiety, addiction, relationship issues, career challenges, trauma, grief and loss.
My personal style is tough love with a strong focus in mindfulness. I believe that every person deserves to know their worth and live life confidently in their own identity and purpose. Honesty, respect and compassion are the three values I hold dear and prioritize within my therapeutic alliance. My approach encompasses person centered, psychodynamic, dialectical behavioral, and ACT techniques. Through our interactions I will tailor my approach to best fit your individual needs.

I have only met with Emily one time. I was so nervous about virtual counseling but I instantly felt comfortable with her. She listened and responded in a way that made me feel like she was trying (and beginning to) to really understand me. She also assigned "homework" which, as an educator, I appreciated. :) The homework was thoughtful and I am really looking forward to beginning!
