Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile. I believe that you are trying your best and that you deserve support, both from yourself as well as from the world around you. Counseling can serve as a space for you to receive some of that support, as well as compassion and encouragement while working toward your goals. I seek to provide a non-biased, warm environment for my clients, meeting them where they are, helping them to reflect upon their strengths and resources, and exploring with them the supports that can be most beneficial in their lives. Together, we can work on skill-building as well as strategies to best manage stressors and triggers, utilizing an eclectic approach based in the following evidence-based treatment methods : Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT); Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT); Narrative Therapy, as well as others.
Personally, I engage in my own avenues of self-care and compassion, of which therapy is one, which allows for strong self-awareness in my practice. Additionally, I deeply value the role our individual passions and interests can play in our healing and growth, and I love working with clients to help them connect with theirs as well as incorporate them into the therapy process whenever possible!
