About me

I am a therapist credentialed in the United Kingdom with 35 years of professional work experience within the Health & Social Care and Education Sectors.

I have experience in helping people with stress, anxiety, depression, childhood trauma, relationship issues, coping with grief and loss, new diagnosis, mental health conditions, dementia , motivation & confidence.

I like to work with people to create an open and safe environment where thoughts and feelings can be shared without fear of judgment.
I believe I am able to communicate a warmth & understanding that allows people to relax, and focus on their goals.
Challenging ourselves is difficult work, but can be achieved with patience and a healthy amount of realism and humour.

I love working with people who want to make changes for themselves and there is nothing more rewarding than seeing people reach that goal.

Recognising the need and then signing up for therapy can take immense courage and I am so proud of everyone that takes that first step.

I look forward to working with you.

She listens so well, she understands me so well. Not patronising or judgemental in any way, which I’ve struggled with previously in counselling. She makes suggestions of different options to help, but isn’t prescriptive. She keeps me on track when I go off on an irrelevant tangent that might deflect from the work we are doing.
