About me

I’m an accredited counsellor based in the UK with over a decade of clinical experience. I offer a warm, grounded space where you can talk openly about what’s going on in your life, without fear of judgement.

I work with a broad range of concerns, including anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, relationship and parenting challenges, career difficulties, LGBTQI+ experiences, and neurodiversity. I also have significant experience supporting those who have been affected by trauma and emotional abuse.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to you. I draw from cognitive behavioural (CBT), humanistic, and psychodynamic approaches, adapting how we work depending on what feels most helpful for you. Whether you’re looking to manage something specific in the present or explore deeper, long-standing patterns, we can move at a pace that feels right.

I aim to create a space where you can express, process, and explore what’s really going on for you. I’m not offended by strong language, and you’re free to show up as you are - whether that means laughing, crying, venting, or sitting quietly. Our sessions are your space, and they’re led by you.

Alongside this, I support clients in building confidence, strengthening their sense of identity, and developing healthier, more secure relationships - both with others and with themselves.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, especially if it’s your first time. You don’t need to have everything figured out. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply want to understand yourself better, we can begin there.
You’re welcome to explore my profile, and feel free to reach out if you have any questions.

I look forward to working with you.

Absolutely wonderful therapist and my first time going into therapy and I couldn't be happier with the response I get from Emma when I have sent a message in, and I always look forward to be able to write my thoughts and feelings down and have them properly listened to and this has helped me better than anything I've tried before.

Emma has been a wonderful support in helping me get through a turbulent time. We’re still gently unpicking through a few things but she makes it comfortable and as easy as it could be.
