About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Wisconsin and I utilize my foundational upbringing to support others on their journey to healing.

As a survivor of sexual assault, I am passionate in helping others heal as I am able to draws from my own personal, professional, and cultural experience. Understanding the impact of intergenerational trauma and historical trauma was instrumental in my finding healing and reconciling deep traumas.

I'm able to combine a number of healing modalities including culturally informed practices of smudging, healing circles, and healing programs such as, White Bison’s “Mending Broken Hearts-Healing of Unresolved Grief and Intergenerational Trauma. Throughout my fifteen year career, I have worked with trauma, depression, anxiety, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, suicide, domestic and sexual violence.

I am very excited for the opportunity to work with you!

I have been working with Emma White for a couple of weeks and I am happy with the progress I have made. It is easy to talk with her and I don’t feel nervous or pressured to talk about anything.

Emma is AMAZING! I have never felt like I have connected with someone outside of my family who genuinely understands what I am going through. Emma is extremely patient, kind, a great listener, responsive, and easy to talk to. I was very nervous about giving therapy a try, but Emma alleviated all of my concerns. I am excited I took my sister's advance and joined BetterHelp! :)

Emma is kind and caring. She makes me feel safe, like I'm talking to a friend, and really tries to understand everything that I've gone through to help me heal from the years of trauma and abuse.
