About me
Hello,
My name is Epiphany and it would be my pleasure to work with you. To give a brief background on myself, I am a native of Newport News, VA. I graduated from Old Dominion University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science. After gaining life experience I made a career change for helping people with physical health to help people with their emotional and mental health. I went on to obtain my Master’s in Education in Counseling and community Counseling concentration from Virginia State University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Certified Substance Abuse Counselor. I have more than 10 years of experience working with a wide range of people including, mild to severe mental diagnosis, addiction and recovery, LGBTQIA community, crisis intervention, and individuals with developmental and intellectual disabilities. All my previous experiences have made me the therapist I am today. I look forward to forward to working with you in the future.
