I firmly believe that therapy is a healing process and also a process of growth. I offer a safe and non-judgmental environment where adults, teens, and children can come and share their hopes, goals, and feelings. For adults I can offer key solutions to present concerns and comfort for past hurts. A book I once read stated: Therapy is a gift for both patient and therapist. Let us begin this journey together. I have assisted men and women with Bipolar Disorder and Schizophrenia. I am passionate about assisting individuals struggling with addiction find healing. I also am passionate about assisting individuals struggling with their sexual orientation.
I work well with children of all ages and I combine a holistic approach to therapy. I also have a masters in Theology and can assist individuals with religious issues they may have. I have assisted men and women struggling with issues of sexual abuse and sexual assault.

Eric is the first therapist I've felt safe enough with to fully open up to. His understanding of my identity, and his manner is compassionate, non-judgmental, and respectful. I look forward to our meetings every week, and the worksheets he provides me make me really explore myself outside of our sessions, so it's like a continuous session all week.

I have seen many many many therapists and have always found myself not feeling understood or that it was too clinical or just awkward/tense.
This guy is on a whole different level to the rest and just goes above and beyond. He is so invested in his clients and provides a safe, relaxed environment where I have felt free to discuss anything and everything without any fear of judgement. Eric is so real and down to earth and has actually graduated from the school of life! He doesn’t beat around the bush and gets stuck in, and if your looking prepared to do the work then he is going to right beside you all the way to the finishing line. He is an inspiring human being and his dedicated and determined energy alone will get you motivated and know that change is possible.

He has been very understanding and non-judgmental of me. I tell him stories I’m afraid of telling others for fear of being seen in a bad light, but he never makes me feel like I am when I talk to him.

Eric is a true listener and a passionate individual that has an incredible acumen for communication and helping me through my issues throughout the past year. I went through many therapists, including in person ones, but Eric was the one that truly clicked.
Despite my skepticism for telehealth, this is actually way better since we are both in our own spaces and can talk freely and frankly. Awesome guy.

I had a tall order when looking for a therapist: someone who had experience counseling on schizophrenia/schizoaffective disorder, addiction including crystal meth, homelessness, child sexual abuse, single parenting, depression, anxiety and multiple traumas. Eric ticked all the boxes, and in our first session went right to work with helping to identify and clarify my challenges, offering empathy and understanding, and suggesting steps to take in order to heal, grow stronger and move forward.. Eric is a good listener, astute, approachable and kind. I am grateful to have found Eric and to continue to benefit from his kind wisdom.

Eric was really helpful to me. I came to him feeling so broken and hopeless. He was vulnerable with me and his practice of constantly reading and sharing has inspired me to read as well. We do not share the exact same background but he could still connect with me. I'm still using some of the principles be recommended and I'm no longer out of control and hopeless. Thanks Eric

Eric 'listens' you and even understand when one fails to express the trauma in to many words. Each individual has a different experience to share and different ways to deal with it. He helps to deal with your stress/anxiety/issues at your pace. Does not rush to conclusions and challenges you to continuosly improve and move past the invisible barriers that one has created around him. He dives deep into your view of looking at things and reasons for it thereby helping you verbalise and emote what you would not dare to say to anyone.

It's hard to find a counsellor that can be empathetic as opposed to sympathetic

This was my first experience seeking counseling. I wasn't sure what to expect, especially online counseling. Eric was the first counselor I matched with. He is an excellent counselor. Eric is easy to talk to, I don't feel judged and I feel safe to express myself. He provides books, resources and worksheets that pertain to the issues we discuss during my sessions. I feel optimistic about the progress I have made and will continue to make while I continue my counseling with Eric.

I've never had any kind of therapy or counselling before so I was really anxious about it in the beginning but Eric made me feel comfortable and he managed to create a safe space where I can share anything with him. He always listens to what I have to say and I feel like he really understands what I'm going through. We're making great progress and I would definitely recommend Eric to anyone interested in having therapy, especially to people who might feel uncomfortable during therapy and who might need some time to open up.
