I am a Mental Health Counselor licensed in Florida with over 25 years of experience working with patients/clients of diverse backgrounds. Over the past 6 years, I have specialized in Addiction and Substance Abuse counseling. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including, but not limited to depression, anxiety, interpersonal issues, trauma/abuse with special importance and expertise in dual diagnoses/co-occurring disorders.
My counseling style is direct and results-oriented with an emphasis on Motivational Interviewing, Gestalt, REBT, Psychodynamic and Existential styles. I tell people things they often do not want to hear but need to hear to help them in facing their denial/ fears to get them unstuck and be the best version of themselves. I believe in treating everyone with dignity, respect, sensitivity, and compassion. Our sessions together will meet your unique and specific needs and you will see results relatively quickly.
