About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor in the State of Texas. I completed my Bachelor’s degree and Master’s degree in Counseling and Psychology through Texas A&M University Central Texas. I have been working in mental health and substance abuse for 6 years. I work with a variety of clients, both adults and minors. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, alcohol and substance use, behavior addictions, relationship issues, parenting problems, trauma, grief, behavioral, self-esteem, and several others.
My counseling style is warm, genuine, and interactive. I believe in treating anyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion, and I don't believe in stigmatizing labels. I am not here to judge anyone in any way. My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psycho-dynamic and rational-emotive counseling, to name a few. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

It takes courage to seek for a more fulfilling and happier life and to take the first steps towards a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you. I am flexible and understand 8:00 am to 5:00 pm does not work for everyone. I will do my best to accommodate any scheduling needs you may have.

I look forward to working with you!
