Hello my name is Erica- *
I have been practicing counseling professionally since 2004 but have been a listener for my whole life. Whatever it is that you may bring to the table I will do my best to reflect validate and be there with you to help you discover your greater self, work through difficult and impossible life transitions, cope and move past crippling anxiety or process traumas that haunt you and you wish for peace from them. I am a trained mental health counselor but also was trained in Expressive art therapy, which I chose because Art in many forms has always been a platform for my own healing process and I wanted to share that with those I work with.
I do my best to meet each individual where they are at. I utilize a strong person centered, humanistic approach while working with my clients as well as existential work looking at how we face our life events and process them and how this affects how we are as human beings. I value the importance of feeling comfortable with your counselor and feeling validated by one's life experiences they are facing no matter how difficult.
In the past 16 years, I have worked with people experiencing trauma, anxiety and depression including postpartum depression. I do not judge loss or suffering and know that no matter how large or how small it may be, to suffer is a burden that we all experience and to have someone on the other side to listen and be present with you no matter how hard it is can be healing in an of itself.

Erica has been fantastic in guiding me through my healing process. We have regular check-ins and her points of view always leave me thinking about things I have to internally work on in new ways. It is very validating and at the same time, plenty of progress because you feel heard, you feel seen. I have come to appreciate therapy at a new level thanks to my consultation and time with her.
