Hi there! First, I want to say that the fact you're here, scrolling through potential therapists, is a really big deal. It's not easy to reach out to others for support, and it means a lot that you're here.
I'm Erica and my pronouns are she/her or they/them. I'm a licensed clinical social worker with a masters degree in, you guessed it, social work. I believe that therapy should be accessible and readily available for all people who want it. I'm glad to be working from a platform that offers so many flexible communication options for you, and I'm excited to meet you wherever you'd like to start.
There are any number of things that might have brought you here. Many of my clients come to me feeling overwhelmed, disconnected from family or loved ones, hopeless about the future, or like they're struggling to make decisions or meaningful change. They may be uncertain of how to start working or even paying attention to these thoughts and the accompanying emotions and behaviors, but they're ready to cultivate growth and self-compassion. If that sounds like you, you're in the right place, and I'm happy to walk with you on your journey of self-discovery.
I respect and believe in every person's right to make their own decisions, and recognize how society itself has barriers that impede balance, and self-care. Erica's been working with me for 6 weeks now. There was loss, pain, confusion, overwhelm, you name it! Most importantly, there's hope and a non-linear (as she'd gently remind me) positive trend in my self-discovery journey.
I have learned so much from her already: new tools, concepts, and perspectives. She is helping me with things like self-compassion, challenging old stories, observing and recognizing patterns, etc.

Erica is excellent at listening to clients, identifying problems or places for improvement, and supplying relevant resources! They have taught me to be patient, kind, and forgiving to myself. Erica is also great at looking at the world around me and preparing me to deal with that - friends and family with depression and anxiety, preparing for future struggles I might endure based on the path I have planned for myself, etc. Erica is inclusive of all genders, sexualities, races, abilities, body types, and more! I highly recommend Erica and I can't thank her enough!
