Dr. Erica Johnson, LISW, LICSW
About me
I am glad you are here. Wherever you are on your journey, whether you feel ready, unsure, or somewhere in between, you are welcome just as you are. Through transparency, compassion, and trust, I support individuals as they work through concerns related to self-worth, relationships, family, school, and career. I specialize in individual therapy for adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating life's transitions. My experience as a clinical social worker, along with fifteen-plus years in corporations helping employees navigate personal, family, and career challenges, gives me a deeper understanding of how different areas of life interact to facilitate personal growth and valued living.
My approach is integrative, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. I draw on CBT, ACT, DBT, mindfulness, and compassion-focused methods, blending what fits your unique goals. Together, we examine longstanding patterns, build coping skills, ease stress and anxiety, and create meaningful, lasting change in the areas of life that matter most to you.
I hold a Master of Social Work and a PhD in Organizational Behavior. With my interdisciplinary training, I explore how experiences across the lifespan impede or facilitate the ability to truly live life fully.
I believe in meeting you where you are with authenticity, respect, and genuine care. Therapy is a collaborative journey, and I'm honored to walk alongside you as you move toward healing and growth.
