About me

Hello there,

Asking for help takes a lot of courage. It is even more difficult when you are experiencing sadness, stress, nervousness, and/or sleepless nights. Know that you’re not alone in feeling this way and I am here to support you and work with you to make you feel better.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California with a Masters degree in Social Work from the University of Southern California. I am bilingual in Spanish and English. I have provided mental health services in psychiatric hospitals, in diverse communities, and in immigration legal settings. I have experience working directly with individuals struggling from depression, anxiety, psychosis, and mood disorders. In addition, I have worked with individuals coping with trauma and abuse, substance use, low self-esteem, crisis, grief, relationship and family issues, and culturally-related challenges.

In my healing sessions, I bring a strength-based approach to help you feel confident about yourself and use various therapeutic approaches to solve your concerns while tuning in to your needs as an individual. I work with you in a holistic manner, meaning I see you as a whole person instead of a “diagnosis.” I will support you in developing action plans for working through your problems and help you manage your emotions at the same time. My goal is to not only help you heal and move forward by being compassionate and gentle to yourself, but also to help you learn lifelong coping skills that you can use for any difficult situations.

I look forward to connecting with you soon!
