About me

Welcome to one of the best decisions you've made today... An investment in YOURSELF!!! I am Erica Woods. I have a wealth of knowledge and experience partnering with children, youth, emerging adults and families for almost 20 years. I'm an authentic engager. I build rapport and lasting relationships with youth, families, community partners and all who I come in contact with. I am intentional and impactful in my leadership and practice to and with others. I often share with others, “If not you, then who”? I earned my graduate degree in Community Counseling from Clark Atlanta University. I am a fully Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).

I'm most effective when partnering with individuals, couples and families who need support with transitions, mood disorders, depressive disorders, impulsivity, substance abuse, abandonment, neglect, self-love/motivation and so much more.

I look forward to working with you!

Erica helped me with her structure, dynamism, authenticity, enthusiasm and ability to empathise without judgement. She validated my feelings and allowed me to see through my challenges through my realisation while offering constant support. I had met two other therapists before Erica, which demonstrated the importance of chemistry and fit in any therapist-client relationship. Thank you for still being here for me Erica!

Erica is a wonderful counselor. She makes me feel heard and completely understood. Provides creative thought activities that keep me in line with the goals we set in our first session. She is always available when I feel the need to reach out. I never feel judged or weird for opening up and expressing my full self. I can tell she truly enjoys her job as well. It's so wonderful to be able to feel that she genuinely wants to see me succeed and makes sure to note progress even with the smallest steps.
