I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 15 years in the Chicagoland area. I have experience working with individuals impacted by mental health, trauma, substance abuse, HIV, grief/loss and homelessness. I am passionate about my work because I feel everyone has the capacity to learn, change and create a better quality of life. I approach my clients with holistic counseling to look at all areas of their life to create strategies to meet your needs. I also integrate cognitive behavioral, solution focused, trauma informed care and strengths perspective into our sessions.
I recognize it is not easy to be vulnerable and can be uncomfortable to open up to a stranger about very personal issues. I am honored to be that person and will greet you with empathy ,patience, honesty and no judgement.
I look forward to starting this journey with you!

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Erika Figgers. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Erika was fantastic. She helped me through a very rough patch in my life. She is great and I would definitely recommend her to anyone that needs help.
Erika has been really helpful in my therapy journey. She actively listens and offers suggestions that can improve my life.
Erika really seems to care. She asks the right questions, and is very patient in waiting for a response. I've only been working with her a little while, but her suggestions and ideas really show that she is listening, and that she sees the person behind the struggle. I look forward to continuing to work with her.
She is very understanding and very easy to contact through the app messaging. I like that I am able to video, call, or message for sessions!
