About me

I am a Clinical Social Worker and have worked in the counseling field for 5 years. I graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Chemical Dependency Counseling and a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice in 2011 and graduated with a master’s degree in social work in 2015 and am currently working on my doctorate in Social Work. I have met the national and New Mexico state requirements to become a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a Licensed Substance Abuse Associate. My work history includes working with those incarcerated, abused, and neglected children and those with disabilities in the educational field. I also currently work with people suffering from depression, anxiety, trauma, and adjustment issues. I focus on the person-centered, strengths-based, cognitive-behavioral, and systems theory, however, each client is approached based on their individual needs and desires for therapy.
