My name is Erika Sandstedt and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Colorado. I earned my degree at the University of Denver, Graduate School of Social Work, in 1996. Throughout my career, I have been passionate about working with individuals of all ages suffering with emotional, physical, spiritual, and practical life challenges. My counseling style is warm and interactive. I find that laughter can be the best medicine. I use a relationship based approach to therapy and believe in empowering my clients to recognize the strengths in themselves to deal with these challenges. I work collaboratively with my clients to identify their treatment goals and regard the importance of establishing a trusting therapeutic relationship to affect change.

I'm so glad I was matched with Erika, I couldn't ask for anything more in a counselor. From day one Erika was great listener, supportive, and kind. She was able to give me perspective on my own problems, while at the same time reflect back to me all the growth I experienced during our time together. She was always very prompt in scheduling our appointments, but also flexible if I ever needed to change anything. I would highly recommend her to my closest friends or family.

I have really valued my time with Ericka - her ability to enable me to see things from a different perspective and react differently to situations has been incredible. She is warm and friendly, great at listening and has every skill you could hope for in a therapist.
Thank you for your help at such a difficult time.
