Erin is a therapist to work WITH you. By which I mean she does a great job of fostering a patient-first, productive atmosphere where I as a client feel like she is on my team, rooting for me to grow. Beyond being encouraging, listening, and supportive, Erin provides wonderful academic resources within and following our sessions in the message-your-therapist feature on here. I’ve tried a few therapist on here, and Erin stands out so much that I wanted to take the time to write a review appreciating her therapist style.

Erin is such a thoughtful, kind, relatable, and helpful soul. she has so much knowledge and so many resources to share as well. from my housing situation falling through to describing the neuroscience of trauma in a way i thoroughly understand (i cannot understate how much this has helped. i mentioned to Erin i was interested in how my mental health affected the structure and function of my brain, and from that point, every resource Erin provided included how the topic affected anatomy and function of the brain. this alone has helped me so much, it makes me trauma feel more normal and manageable, since there’s science behind the aftermath of trauma as well as healing in the brain.)
aside from this, Erin speaks as a respectful friend. i feel very comfortable with her, and she’s so splendid at sharing her experience with her own mental health in a professional way. this helps me feel more understood, to know the person helping me has actually experienced it and knows what it feels like to be depressed. i am sincerely so lucky to have found her. i’m blessed for betterhelp, thank you and thank you Erin.
