Erin Plachko, LPC
About me
As a licensed professional counselor in Colorado, I began my career in community mental health in the Denver area working with families and then adults with severe and persistent mental illness. My therapeutic style integrates evidence-based practices (cognitive-behavioral, solution focused, motivational interviewing) with a holistic perspective that honors each person's unique spiritual and emotional journey-including those interested in Christian-informed counseling approaches. My goal is to create a supportive environment where clients can explore their experiences, process difficult emotions, and develop resilient strategies for healing and transformation and ultimately live out their best life using their unique gifts and talents.
I am committed to walking alongside my clients with empathy, wisdom, and genuine care. Together, we can explore pathways toward greater emotional wellness, self-understanding, and personal empowerment.
Outside of work, I am a very active person and love to be outside, workout (cycling!), read, garden, travel, and spend quality time with my family, friends and church community. I'm also a busy sports mom and feel so blessed to watch my kids grow and develop while they do what they love.
