About me

I am a professional counselor, currently only taking clients living in Maryland. I hold a Master of Arts and Education Specialist degree in Professional Counseling. I have been working with individuals and families for over 8 years now in a variety of mental health settings. With each client, I utilize a strength-based, humanistic counseling perspective to help empower you to meet your goals, overcome any struggles you might be experiencing, and solve problems in healthy ways. By utilizing a strength-based approach in combination with teaching the powerful techniques of cognitive behavioral therapy, I hope to help you meet your goals while building on your self worth.

My multi-faceted mental health experience includes: treating individuals, couples and families in a mental health outpatient clinic, providing individual and family counseling to children/adolescents/young adults in private practice, treating adults in an inpatient substance abuse treatment program, and treating youth in an alternative to incarceration program. My primary passion is treating every client as unique in their own strengths and struggles and empowering each client to meet their personal goals.

(Please note that when we get started- it could take up to 24 hours to first hear from me-thank you!)
