My name is Rabbi Yisroel Roll, a licensed psychotherapist, and Board-Approved Supervisor in Maryland. I work with people of all faiths as I employ a strengths-model which is applicable to all streams of spirituality. I work best with people who are looking to grow and to work on themselves through introspection, self-reflection and insight. My approach is CBT (Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy) with psychodynamic experiential techniques which get to the core issues quickly. I help you get in touch with your subconscious mind and inner spirituality to discover the source of your challenge...what is REALLY going on? I will teach you mindfulness and will help you find serenity and inner calm so you can function effectively despite the challenges you are facing. I know the challenges are emotionally draining and exhausting. I get it. I will provide you with practical CBT techniques to help you overcome anxiety and depression and deal with the core challenges which are forcing you to discover your real "self." That is the purpose of the challenge--to bring out a dormant strength and help you self-actualize. It is not easy, but it is a journey of self-discovery. I have written ten books on self-esteem and have an expertise in building self-confidence and resilience. I will teach you meditation and relaxation techniques and will help you break free from debilitating worry, stress, and anxiety and get back to being your best "self"---you!

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Rabbi Ernest "Yisroel" Roll. We don’t pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Been very big help doesn’t look down even tho my worries seem to be a little extreme helped me calm my anxiety down and learn how to differ what my mind wants to worry about and do what my soul need
Rabbi Roll is very compassionate and caring. He really listens and has excellent treatment plans for his patients.
My 1st meeting with Rabbi Roll was very promising. He was very attentive to what I communicated. He implemented a few exercises and gave me homework to work on until we meet again. I was very satisfied with my session with Rabbi Roll, and I look forward to our future sessions.
Can’t say enough positive things about Rabbi Roll. He has a wealth of knowledge about anxiety treatment and always gives practical and helpful advice. 10/10
He’s helping to be a lifeline as I navigate unfamiliar territory with my mental health. The exercises and homework have kept me connected and dedicated to my mental health when I am not in sessions. The meditations I truly believe are healing my heart and mind. Very thankful
Kind, understanding and effective!
I've only done two sessions so far but I would recommend to anyone and I think everyone needs mental help so this is the best way to do it unless being in-person has added benefits I don't know.
Very direct concise and efficient communicator incisive questions and tasks he’s good at what he does
Mr. Roll made every single session count. I always walk away with new thoughts to ponder on, and new habits to practice. I started therapy thinking how can someone solve a problem so vague? Like I was unsure of it myself, but I was desperate. Mr.Roll helped me gain clarity of my own stories, asked questions, and gave me the guidance I needed to move on with my journey - as a stronger, more conscious person.
It's been a while since I've last sought help from him, but I'm still feeling truly stable and content. His practices still go with me to this day. I'm forever grateful.
I appreciate him, for being professional person and understanding my problem.
Rabbi Roll is an amazing therapist that listens and really dives deep to the route of what's going on. He implements known therapeutic principles and explains what they are and the aims of each. He's quite compassionate and forward thinking in terms of aiming for growth including giving homework which is highly impactful and relevant. I highly look forward to my sessions with him and anticipate much greater growth as we continue.
