About me
The relationship between a counselor and client should be one in which a client feels safe, understood and able to articulate his/her concerns in a nonjudgmental, nurturing and genuine manner. I have been in private practice for approximately 13 years. I have extensive experience working with individuals and families for over 20 years. I enjoy my work and approach each individual's unique needs in a holistic and compassionate manner. I have an eclectic approach to working with individuals and families which is collaborative and strength based. It is important that clients are able to re-author their lives independently as individuals and families.
I have worked with individuals, couples and families helping them navigate the plethora of challenges in life. Some of my specialties include: anxiety, depression, communication, ADHD, disruptive/impulsive behaviors, self esteem, parenting, blended family issues, couples counseling, divorce/separation, transitions, peer and work/home stress.
