About me

Welcome to my page.

Life can be a struggle, challenging and confusing. Sometimes it can be difficult to talk openly to those around you. I offer a confidential, caring space free from judgment for you to explore your thoughts and feelings.

I am empathic and honest. In therapy I will work alongside and support you so that you can find your way through the difficulties you are experiencing or have experienced in the past; in a way that feels right for you; at a pace that feels comfortable. We can work together to make sense of what you’re thinking, feeling and what you are going through, enabling you to develop a sense of healing, establish goals and grow towards them gaining a greater understanding of yourself.

I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy and follow their Ethical Framework and policies. As an integrative therapist I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches, The way I work is tailored to you and your needs.

A bit more about me.

I have my own personal experience of how rewarding and transformative therapy can be. I have worked as a therapist in various settings, privately, at a medical practice, within a drug addiction service and volunteer work for a UK based mental health charity. I was born and grew up in London. Lived for many years in Ecuador, South America and now live in the UK by the coast. I enjoy the freedom, space and peace this brings me.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Esther Fendall. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Esther is a breath of fresh air! I feel heard and understood, she is an ideal balance of soft but navigates to the crux of my issue... I couldn't recommend her style more, and I love that she gives me worksheets to prepare for our chats. I feel very 'seen' but in a way that's open to the changing perspectives I'm discovering about myself and experiences.

Written on Apr 15, 2024 after therapy with Esther for 2 weeks on issues concerning stress, anxiety, relationship issues, family conflicts, trauma and abuse, grief, intimacy-related issues, self esteem, career difficulties, coping with life changes, coaching, and adhd
