About me

I am a well seasoned professional with 25+ years of experience. I have worked at The Department of Social Service; T.O.P.I.C House Substance Abuse Treatment Center; Randolph , Forsyth and Guilford County Mental Health Agency’s. I was also Clinical Director for the Randolph County ACTT. And have a private practice (It’s All About Change!) since 1998. During the years that I have practiced I have been honored to learn as much from my clients as I have from my training because they allowed me to assist them with making changes in their lives for the better. We partnered and did it together, which meant looking at all aspects of an issue to discover the root of the issue so that we could construct a plan to address, bit by bit, the elements of the issue to reconcile the outlook of the issue(s) to heal.

Mrs Eva has been an amazing therapist in my journey of healing. She holds me accountable and pushes me to think beyond my limitations. I appreciate her and her nurturing wisdom and discerning guidance on my journey to healing.

Written on Mar 05, 2023 after therapy with Eva for 1 year on issues concerning depression, stress, anxiety, addictions, lgbt, relationship issues, trauma and abuse, intimacy-related issues, sleeping disorders, self esteem, anger management, coping with life changes, coaching, compassion fatigue, and adhd

Eva is the person that you can connect right away because she sees you. The everyday methods that work and the conversations that become motivations to have faith, hope, love in oneself. I've been with her since May/June 2022 and it has been a great experience for my mental health journey. I have made a lot of progress with Eva, sobriety going strong. We set realistic goals and review them regularly. We take time to appreciate and be proud of my achievements and what I do for myself compared to before. I start to love myself again and learn how to love myself the right ways. I can highly recommend Eva based on my personal experiences ☺️

I’ve had one session with Eva, so far. Even though we had some connection trouble. We together were able to spend a solid 30 minutes together

She brought with her a comfortable and safe space for me to be vulnerable. Immediately I felt seen and was affirmed by her, while also being gently reminded about how to approach my reality.
