I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Michigan, and I have earned my National Certified Counselor (NCC) status through the National Board of Certified Counselors. I earned a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Oakland University in 2017, and have since been working with clients with a variety of concerns.
I have experience working with depression and anxiety, trauma, and adjustment to life stressors. I employ a client-centered, strengths-based approach, incorporating skills from cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, existentialism, and psychodynamic theory in order to meet each person’s therapy needs. My goal as a therapist is to assist clients in discovering and utilizing their strengths to implement positive change in their lives.
I am here to provide a safe, nonjudgmental space for you to work through whatever challenges life has thrown your way. I look forward to meeting you!

She’s helped me so much already. I can’t recommend her enough.
Evelyn is easy to work with. She listens to my ramblings and then helps me to gain clarity to my thoughts. Regardless of how good or bad my week has gone, I look forward to talking with Evelyn to gain some insights into the How and Whys of it.
