About me
Are you ready to make a change in your life? If you’re struggling with mental health, grief, trauma, relationships or life changes it may be time to lean into the support of a professional. I’m a social worker and chemical dependency counselor licensed in Texas and I’d love to support you on your healing journey of self-discovery. I graduated from Our Lady of the Lake University with a masters in social work with an emphasis on studies of Hispanic children and families. During my career I have worked with those battling addiction and mental illness. It’s a passion of mine to work with those struggling and their families.
Often when people come to therapy they are seeking a change in their life. As an experiential therapist, I believe change happens from changing one’s perspective. In my approach I support my clients with unconditional positive regard to help them reach their goals and maximize their potential.
Outside of work, I love to cook, watch true crime, play board games with family, go hiking with my dogs and go camping. I also love to challenge myself in the gym or practicing yoga. It takes courage to reach out for help! Set up a free consultation with me today so we can start working on your journey towards healing.
