I have experience in traditional counseling, inpatient psychiatric treatment, foster care and parent coaching, working with at-risk youth, emergency crisis counseling, equine assisted psychotherapy, and Art therapy.
I am also a person of faith, and believe that all people have an awareness of the spiritual no matter how it finds expression in their lives. I am comfortable and able to work with people at any stage of their spiritual journey, and whether or not they subscribe to an organized religion.
I am comfortable and have experiencing working with both men and women, young, middle age and older adults, and people of all gender and sexual orientations.
My theoretical orientation is Adlerian Psychotherapy, however I do employ a eclectic approach to therapy and utilize other theoretical approaches as appropriate based on the needs of the person I am working with. I have a wholistic view of a person’s functioning that takes into consideration environmental factors that include: health conditions, stress level, diet, exercise, rest, relaxation, recreation, sexual function, and spiritual and self expression.
When working with me you can expect a helper that respectfully supports you with enthusiasm, hopefulness, warmth, genuineness, cultural sensitivity, care and concern.

She is very helpful and understanding! I also feel that she cares a lot and shows it with her feedback.
Felicia has helped me so much in the short time we’ve been working together. I truly look forward to our meetings and how much they have helped me grow beyond the struggles I’ve been experiencing the past few months. I was unsure about therapy at first, but she helped make it worthwhile.
I’ve been Waugh Felicia for about two months now and even when life gets tough I’m glad that I can talk to her. I look forward to seeing her every week. Joining BetterHelp was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made.

Going to counseling with Felicia has been a great experience! I was struggling with anxiety for months before we began our sessions and she really helped me cope with it and work towards treating myself kindly. When it came to stressors in my life that had been weighing on me, she helped me put things into perspective and encouraged me to think more optimistically about my long term goals in life. She's incredibly kind, genuine, and attentive. I highly recommend Felicia for counseling!!

Felicia is the definition of kind. She is so sweet and very attentive. Every time we spoke on video, I felt like I was talking to a friend. She helped me understand myself better and provided me the tools to help me improve my everyday relationships. I will forever be grateful for her help!
Felicia has been such a great help and is a wonderful counselor! She goes above and beyond, integrating art therapy, literature, and other resources into the program. She helped me work through various problems and allowed me to have insight into my feelings with a kind and caring delivery. She was always available and responds quickly to messages. She is very knowledgeable and I enjoyed my weekly sessions with her! I would highly recommend her to my family and friends!
It's difficult to "pick" a counselor based on a minimal bio and small picture. But after doing so, I've been blown away by Felicia's kindness, soothing voice, and communication. She is reasonable, understanding, and a talented listener.
