Francine Lalande, LPC
About me
My clients are treasures to me. I highly value the confidence that they place in me and the trust that we share. I treat every one of them with gentleness and kindness, knowing they are sharing their deepest fears and most terrifying memories with me. I have over ten years experience counseling people of all ages and cultures. I use a variety of counseling theories which include Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectic Behavior Therapy, EMDR - Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing, and Narrative Therapy. While I bring a deep dish of experience to the counseling office, it is always the relationships that I form with clients that are the most important aspect of the work. I prepare for each session individually based on the needs of the client and am always ready to shift in session when necessary. I meet each person where they are, work to have them identify where they would like to be in their professional and personal lives, and craft goals to help to get them there. I honor the courage that people show just by going to counseling and help to provide them hope for the future.
