I am trained in and practiced from harm reduction perspective, meeting people where they are at their struggle with alcohol and substance abuse concerns and helping them set their goals for change. I blend cognitive behavioral technique, interpersonal therapy, and mindfulness practice to address depression, anxiety, and mood disorders with a exploitation of the underlying cause of distress. I prioritize creating safe spaces where survivors access their natural resilience promote healing to recover from trauma and loss. I use motivational interviewing techniques to help people get unstuck from the patterns that trouble them most and make desired changes in their lives to change their habit and setting their goals. I provide an accepting space for discovery in which people can explore their identity by learning who they are, where they are going, and who they want to be. I teach interpersonal skills and copying tools to help people to learn anger management and conflict resolution, so that they can communicate assertively and improve their relationships. I welcome everybody and I am particularly interested in inviting those who may not feel as comfortable in all treatment spaces: members of LGBT communities, people wanting to talk about size acceptance, people of color, and members of marginalized groups.

I’ve been taking with Froogh for a few months now and I’m very happy with my experiences with her. She understands my point of view and helps me understand others. By far she’s the best counselor I’ve had and look forward to continuing our sessions

Froogh is a fantastic counselor. She is a thoughtful listener and is very skilled at helping you empower yourself. I am working through issues with anxiety and Froogh has provided me with tools to accept and work through my anxiety, as well as ways to reflect on the situation and keep me moving forward. I fullheartedly recommend her caring, attentive sessions.

Froogh is kind and helped me in my first two weeks. She offered good advice and insight in the short time we connected, however our schedules didn’t align that much. I am still getting a feel for this service, and I am exited to see where it goes.

Froogh has been a great help to me. I have no experience with this service however, I have had some very dark emotional days recently and Frrogh’s comments, suggestions, and advice has helped me considerably. I really appreciate her.

I have only had one session with Froogh at this point. I liked her, felt comfortable with her but I don't know how things will proceed. I do feel her sense of compassion and concern. She helped guide me into some steps to take during my first week.
