I also serve as a Qualified Board Supervisor with the State of MS for Licensed Professional Counselors. I earned a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and Doctorate in Counseling Psychology with a specialization in Mental/Behavioral Health. I have over 15 years of experience in mental health and social services. I have experience providing services for children, teens and adults presenting with various mental, emotional, and behavioral issues. My approach to therapy is client centered, strength based and solution focused. As a professionally trained and experienced mental health practitioner, I have the tools and understanding to help you create the life you imagine and get a renewed sense of self.

I have been seeing Dr. Cannady for 2 months now, I highly recommend her to anyone, she has a way of making people feel comfortable right away, I am usually someone who hates talking to people because of how I fear their judgements, yet, I feel like I could literally tell her anything, she always listens carefully and try to gibe the best advice possible. She's also not just the type of person who just sits there and listen to you talk non-stop, she's always got something to say, whether it's a piece of advice, some experience she's had with it or just her trying to comfort you. Seriously if you're looking for someone to talk and see Dr. Cannady, look no more, you found her.
It's only been a short while but Dr. Cannady has helped lift an immense pressure that I've been carrying around for a long time already. I highly recommend her, she's always listening but it doesn't stop her from also talking in the therapy session which helps add to your own experiences, but she also gives insightful feedback and encourages you to talk about yourself

Dr. Cannady was really insightful and picked up on things I didn’t even realize about myself.
