I am a licensed counselor with over 25 years experience in providing therapy. My areas of knowledge include grief and trauma therapy, treatment for anxiety and depression, and issues for LGBTQ individuals. I believe in the life transforming power of mindfulness and also employ dialectical behavioral therapy, psychodynamic process, and Rogerian theory which focuses on empathy and unconditional positive regard from the therapist to the client. My focus as a therapist is to provide a safe and compassionate space in which a person can gain self knowledge, self compassion and kindness. Each person is unique and my goal is to provide individualized treatment and support to each person I work with. I welcome the opportunity and the privilege of providing guidance and support to each person on their journey of self discovery and healing.

My first session with Gail was wonderful. It was exactly what I needed in a counselor. She was non-judgemental, kind, unbiased, and listened thoroughly.
I have never attempted counselling before and I was really happy to find Gail to work with.
She has a very professional and friendly approach that makes you feel very supported and listened to. She was able to identify my concerns and made me feel that she understood.
I look forward to our sessions and always gain new insight and practical strategies after speaking with her.
