About me

I am a practicing counsellor who completed a masters in psychodynamic psychotherapy at the university of Essex, along with some shorter courses which cover other areas of mental health such as children's well-being and autism.

During our work together, I will offer you safe space to discuss how you are feeling and I may ask you questions to better understand you. I hope the space I offer you will enable you to open up, understand yourself more and empower you.

I am currently supporting the Road Victim's Trust as a counselling volunteer, where I work with people who may be experiencing grief, trauma, and a number of other interconnecting issues.

Thank you for reading my profile.

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Gareth Harris. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

So far he's been understanding and polite and helpful. I feel completely safe talking to him and can be myself which in turn will help me be more honest and therefore the therapy will be more beneficial

Gareth is great at understanding how past events can relate to current behaviours and allows for a very open dialogue. I would recommend Gareth.
