About me

Thanks for stopping by, my name is Gia. I believe that we all have the ability to create and sustain change. That it starts with a vision of what we want to be and we never let go of that vision. Through my years of counseling I have sat with a diverse population with great success. I combine cognitive-behavioral therapy with solution-focused strategies to help you start the change process today.

One of my passions is working with clients. Seven years of my experience was with an all-male clientele where we take an honest and hard look at the root and solution to issues like pornography addiction, self-esteem, relationship problems and a variety of concerns that men have but often no one to discuss such things with. The approach matches what you need and your communication style. I have heard it all, so we put it on the table and work it out. You are going to find real and relevant solutions and gain some insight along the way.

Another specialty that I bring to Better Help is my vast experience helping women address those relationship issues that seem to be so unrelenting. Issues like fear of abandonment, fear of rejection, chasing after the wrong people, as well as depression and anxiety. I believe that we are all capable of "becoming" something amazing...our absolute perfect potential. I will bring the therapeutic technique that you need for your situation including CBT, DBT, ACT, Solution Focused, whatever your progress needs.

No judgement. Pure acceptance and compassion, right where you are today. Together we can move past labels, diagnoses, suffering, and create the vision to "Become". Become even more empowered and dynamic than you would have ever been if that "thing" hadn't ever happened.

As an experienced therapist let me help you find the order in the midst of the chaos. Sometimes life brings a needle across our record and we need help finding that song again. Only you know the song, my role is to be your accompanist and when needed challenge you and help you turn the pages to the next place.

This life isn't always easy even when we make all the "right" decisions. There are times of loneliness and despair, uncertainty of who we are, and so many pressures to fulfill the roles that are ours but for which maybe we weren't prepared for.

I like to think of having a good therapist as a true "do over" as we are better prepared for what comes next.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Gia Lucero Bryan. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Gia is a really good listener, and quite proactive. She gets right to it, and you don’t waste time pondering tangential thoughts or feelings. Highly recommend.

Gia is a great therapist and have a lot of talents to help her clients however, time management was an issue. She was not responsive in chating as I hoped and the session would only last for 30 mins even if we had troubles with audio it would still count off my time. Probably she is overwhelmed with many clients because she is super excellent. If she managed time she would be the best and I would want to come back to her.

Gia has been really supportive with the variety of issues I've come to her with. She asked me questions that were challenging but also that helped me work through several different issues. I can really see a progress and a shift in my emotional and mental wellbeing after several weeks of counselling! She is a great listener and her voice always fills me up with warmth. I would definitely recommend Gia for concerns related to emotional and mental health, and if you're looking for someone who will understand and adjust to your needs.

I haven’t talked to Gia for long, but she is a great listener and has given me resources that have helped me already.

Gia is very good at helping me connect with my thinking and work through it so I don't get stuck in the challenges of my life. She is helping me take control of my thoughts and thus my life and actions. Not only is she great to talk to, but she helps me access resources outside of our sessions that allow me to work on those things I need to work on.

Gia is so genuine and kind! She has helped me through the most difficult days of my life. She is engaged and truly listens to give good perspective and to help reframe our thoughts when I was feeling hopeless. I could not recommend her enough! Thanks for everything, Gia!
