About Me
Life challenges do not discriminate. When they enter your life the struggle is the same. It does not matter race, culture, class, or age the stress is the same.
As a therapist, I believe each client struggling with challenges has a story to tell and needs a non-judgmental listening ear. The story of life brings a variety of fears, expectations, victories, losses, feelings of grief, and possibilities for making new meanings. Challenges not only affect the individual, but also impacts intimate relationships, families, and communities. Both mental and physical health suffers as one navigates towards restoration. I believe healing is possible and recovery is a process. I support, educate and counsel clients by focusing on their unique feelings they may be experiencing. The focus is placed on helping clients develop and strengthen the tools needed to cope and effectively face whatever life brings.

Gilonda is incredible
Gilonda is an excellent therapist. She listens, validates my feelings and supports me in every session. She also challenges me by asking probing questions and giving me homework that is introspective and thought provoking. I have grown so much since working with Gilonda and I continue to make progress with each visit. She is awesome!
I’ve been working with Gilonda for months now and it has been a really helpful experience. It’s great when you find a therapist that listens to you abs understands your journey. She’s great with helping me figure out and find answers for both my career and personal life.
Gilonda has only been my counselor for a short while but I feel seen and heard by her. I also feel like she is able to see my needs before I realize I need them. I wish I could send everyone I know who needs help to Gilonda.
She is very empathetic and I feel safe telling her about my problems. I would highly recommend her.
