Ginger King, LCSW
About me
As a licensed therapist in Wisconsin with over 20 years of experience, I support individuals who are feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin, or quietly carrying more than others may realize.
My approach is warm, grounded, and deeply attentive. In our chat space, you won’t feel rushed or judged—you’ll have room to slow down, reflect, and be fully seen.
I specialize in helping with anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, life transitions, and relationship challenges. I also support clients navigating social anxiety, self-esteem struggles, identity exploration, and the pressure of “holding it all together.”
What makes my work unique is how I show up with you.
I focus on:
helping you make sense of what you’re feeling
gently slowing down overwhelming thoughts
building emotional clarity and self-trust
creating small, meaningful shifts that lead to real change
My style is not about fixing you—it’s about understanding you.
Together, we’ll create a space where you can:
express yourself honestly
feel supported without pressure
develop insight at your own pace
begin to move from survival mode toward a more grounded, balanced way of living
I am especially passionate about supporting individuals who feel alone in what they’re carrying, or who are used to being “the strong one” for everyone else.
You don’t have to do that here.
If you’re looking for a therapist who will meet you with empathy, clarity, and steady support through chat—you’re in the right place.

Ginger King is an amazing woman. She is very insightful and validated my feelings while giving me more to think on. She makes me feel understood and seen. It's hard to find a good therapist, I've been doing this for over 20 years, but she is already one of my favorites.

Ginger helped me find the light within myself again. With her help, I learned to be kinder to myself and take the time to care for me like I care for others. Ginger is compassionate yet accountable, optimistic yet realistic, and above all it’s clear to see she’s passionate about helping others. I’m so thankful to have matched with her on this platform.
