Gladys Hollis, LPC
About me
You are the focus of this work, and your unique experiences, needs, and goals guide the therapeutic process. As a former educator, current school counselor, and part-time licensed professional counselor, I have experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults through a variety of life’s challenges.
I work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, low self-esteem, anger, relationship and conflict concerns, behavior challenges, adjustment disorders, self-harm, suicidal ideation, and personal growth.
I believe lasting healing comes from addressing the root of the problem rather than simply managing symptoms. Together, we’ll explore how past experiences may be influencing your present concerns while building self-awareness, resilience, and practical skills for lasting change.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to your individual needs. I draw from evidence-based therapies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you feel heard, valued, and empowered. Wherever you are in your journey, we’ll work together to help you move toward healing and meaningful change.

I have seen several therapists throughout my adulthood and Gladys is, by far, the best one I've had. She is easy to talk to and makes me feel safe from judgement and I can talk to her and make progress working on myself.

Finding Gladys H has been a game-changer in my life. She pushes me to reflect on myself and my goals when hiding in distractions and busyness would be easier. I love having her in my corner to cheer me on and challenge me to keep moving forward.
