As a mental health therapist, licensed in Arkansas, Mississippi, and New Jersey, with over 26 years experience, I enjoy working with clients, with a wide range of concerns, such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, parenting problems, career challenges, emotional and physical abuse, trauma, OCD, and ADHD. My therapy style is caring and encouraging. I provide support, as you gain insight into the challenges that can keep you or your family caught in the cycle of dissension, and help you develop healthier coping skills. In our therapy sessions, you are accepted where you are, while encouraged to grow. Everyone is taught that they are valuable.
I use multiple approaches to help my clients cope and overcome their challenges. Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) gives healthy coping skills a name and practical life application. Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) involves thinking through and processing concerns and solutions, while Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy (TF-CBT) teaches effective coping skills and prepares individuals to be able to talk about upsetting and confusing events. My Christian holistic approach provides additional effective and calming skills, especially in relation to anxiety.
These techniques are utilized in the therapeutic setting, among others. Treatment is individualized, and success is personalized.
Additional areas of focus:Addictions, Family conflicts, Trauma and abuse, Grief, Parenting issues, Anger management, Coping with life changes, Abandonment, Aging and Geriatric Issues, Attachment Issues, Autism and Asperger Syndrome, Blended Family Issues, Body Image, Cancer, Caregiver Issues and Stress, Chronic Pain Illness and Disability, Codependency, Communication Problems, Control Issues, Coping with Natural or Human-Caused Disaster, Dependent Personality, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder (DMDD), Divorce and Separation, Domestic Violence, Emptiness, Family of Origin Issues, Family Problems, Forgiveness, Impulsivity, Isolation / Loneliness, Life Purpose, Military and Veterans Issues, Money and Financial Issues, Mood Disorders, Obsessions, Compulsions, and OCD, Panic Disorder and Panic Attacks, Paranoia, Post-traumatic Stress, Pregnancy and Childbirth, Self-Harm, Self-Love, Social Anxiety and Phobia, Women's Issues, Workplace Issues

I am very appreciative to have found Glenna to help me in any area that I choose to discuss. I am especially grateful to have a woman of faith to help guide me spiritually as well!! I personally requested to have a therapist that I can include my faith and I can already see how this is helpful to myself and will be helpful in helping me to be confident in who I am and I desire to be! I am sure many therapists are great and at first I was assigned a therapist that did not want to include faith and since that is an important part of my journey I asked to be reassigned and Betterhelp assigned me to Glenna and I'm grateful.
