Grace Fluty, LPCC
About me
I am a trauma-informed, person-centered counselor. I typically provide Christian faith based counseling but see people of other religions/spiritual beliefs as well.
I have over 6 years of experience counseling at this point. After receiving my Masters degree, I had over two years of supervised counseling experience. I then went on to get my independent counseling license and continued on after that to become a supervisor in the field.
My counseling is informed by a holistic approach that takes the stance that to address issues, we need to consider all areas of life (mental/emotional health, spiritual health, self-care, relational health, physical health, etc.). By looking at each person as a whole being, I am able to work with my clients to support their goals in all areas of life.
I have extensive training in trauma including EMDR training, IFS training, and Formational Prayer training. I also have been trained in other therapies such as CBT, DBT, and Person-centered and Polyvagal Theory. I find it useful to incorporate aspects of all these theories and therapies to support each person in a way that fits them individually.
