About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina. I have been counseling for 15 years and have worked with clients with many different life concerns including substance abuse, anxiety, depression, ADD/ADHD, trauma, relationship issues , family conflicts and life changes just to name a few. I am a firm believer in a client centered approach. The client is in the “driver’s seat” when it comes to their therapy. I approach every client with unconditional positive regard and my office/video screen is ALWAYS a judgement free zone. I am passionate about helping my clients seek to find balance and empowering them to take the necessary steps to reach their goals. I encourage you to take a leap of faith and get the help you are seeking. Life changes are achievable when individual ideas collide with positive actions.

I have a very eclectic counseling style. I have a unique ability to adapt my style/approach to meet the individual needs of each client. I am well versed in cognitive-behavioral, person centered, and reality therapy. I have worked with a very diverse population of clients in the past and ALL are welcome. I believe therapists are only wounded survivors with education and training, who seek to help their fellow man/women to face life's difficulties.
