About Me

I am a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor in North Carolina. I have been counseling for 11 years and have worked with clients with many different life concerns including substance abuse, anxiety, depression, ADD, trauma, relationship issues , family conflicts and life changes just to name a few. I am a firm believer that the client is in the “driver’s seat” when it comes to their therapy. I approach every client with unconditional positive regard and my office/video screen is ALWAYS a judgement free zone. I would almost be willing to bet you a quarter that you can’t shock me. I encourage you to take a leap of faith and get the help you are seeking. Life changes are achievable when individual ideas collide with positive actions.

I have a very eclectic counseling style. I have a unique ability to adapt my style/approach to meet the individual needs of each client. I am well versed in cognitive-behavioral, person centered, and reality therapy. I have worked with a very diverse population of clients in the past and ALL are welcome. I believe therapists are only wounded survivors with education and training, who seek to help their fellow man/women to face life's difficulties.

Greg has helped me build the skills to deal with my problems, big and small. I came into therapy an absolute wreck, thinking my problems were tremendous, unconquerable, impossible, and he just said, "I think I can help you with that", and he was absolutely right.

Greg helped me add tools to my toolbelt that have me equipped to handle situations, feelings, and fears that were completely disrupting my ability to live a functional life. I felt heard when I talked to him, but he challenged me too, and helped me get out of my own way on some issues. He had insights that felt incredibly obvious after hearing them, but were utter mysteries to me only moments prior. I talked about loss, and anxiety, and personal insecurities, and never once felt judged even when some things were difficult to confront.

Greg is a fantastic counselor, and I am lucky to have worked with him.

Greg is amazing and so helpful. I’m glad he’s my therapist. I wish we could spend more time on the phone together in sessions though.

Greg Jones is a wonderful counselor. If you need him to listen, he listens. If you need him to tell you something, he will. He’s realistic, laid back, but passionate about what he does. He’s very inviting. He will not blow smoke at you. He keeps it real and will do anything he can to help. I would recommend to anyone.

Greg is an incredible counselor. He is supportive, kind and relatable while also being very honest and direct. I appreciate his ability to empathize with me while also helping me grow and sometimes telling me things that I don’t want to hear. His main goal is to ensure I am supported and I so appreciate that. Greg is excellent and I’d recommend him to anyone. He gives me tools and exercises to try so it feels easy to do the work out side of our meetings.
