About me

I am a licensed clinical social worker in Texas. I have worked with families and children for over thirty years in various capacities. I also have a masters degree in counseling psychology. I have worked with clients on issues such as depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting issues, blended family issues, abuse and/or neglect, self esteem and trauma. I am a certified clinical trauma professional. I like helping others work through difficult situations. I like to think of myself as a understanding guide to help for those in need. I like to help people connect with themselves, relationships and resources.

I am a firm believer in the mind, body and spirit working together to find a sense of well being. My approach is is a combination of short term goal oriented therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, humanistic and solution focused therapy. I am happy to help work on a treatment plan that best reflects the individual needs of the client.

I truly believe that all of our lives have been forever changed due to events in the last two years. Those changes have created more conversations about the importance of mental health. Those conversations have helped many to learn that it is okay to not be okay. The ability to get the help that we need is so important for the people that we are, the people that we hope to become and to those that will come after us. We can all do our part to promote mental health for yourselves and others. Allow me the honor of helping you in your self care journey.
