About me

Hi!!
If you struggle with Addiction
If you struggle with maintaining Relationships
If you are struggling with Love and Marriage
If you have decided, you want something different and better and if you have decided you want to find happiness and be your best self.
I am interested in assisting you on your journey with the aforementioned issues.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Louisiana and the State of Florida. I have worked with Marriage and Family for 13 years, Substance Abuse/Mental Health for 10 years. I have worked with clients with concerns such as depression, anxiety and anger to name a few. I am here to listen to you and offer guidance when you decide you are in need of help finding the next right thing to do. I believe your wellbeing should be controlled by you.

I am a good listener, non-judgmental and empathic. My counseling approach is eclectic using evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Rational Emotive Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing and Psychoeducation to name a few. I will always tailor dialog and treatment planning to meeting your unique and specific concerns. I received my bachelor’s degree in psychology from Troy University and my master’s degree in Clinical Social Work from the University of West Florida.

Let me take this time to encourage and applaud you on your decision to seek counseling, for that step takes courage. The reward of a happier, more fulfilling life at the end of this journey far outweighs the struggles that have been impeding your mental well-being. I look forward to reassuring you that people do heal and helping you to create your success story.

Ms. Gwen listens to my concerns and issues and will guide, make suggestions and will tell me different ways I could’ve responded. She is supportive and always understanding.
