Dr. Hannah Armbrust, LMHC, LPC
About me
As a licensed therapist in Indiana and Virginia, I bring over a decade of experience in mental health, dedicated to supporting individuals as they navigate the emotional complexities of life. My work is grounded in compassion, depth, and respect for the uniqueness of every person’s psychological journey.
In my practice, I offer a thoughtful and supportive therapeutic space where clients can explore their inner world with honesty and curiosity. I work with individuals facing depression, anxiety, relational difficulties, and the lingering effects of trauma. Together, we seek to understand the deeper emotional patterns that shape one’s experiences, while cultivating greater self-awareness, resilience, and emotional balance.
My approach integrates evidence-based clinical practices with a reflective and humanistic perspective that honors the complexity of the human psyche. I support clients in developing self-compassion, strengthening communication, navigating social and relational challenges, and engaging in meaningful personal growth.
I work with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and life stages, including young adults, people navigating major life transitions, and those experiencing feelings of isolation, guilt, shame, or profound emotional change. Therapy, in my view, is a collaborative journey toward deeper understanding, healing, and personal transformation.
Every story deserves to be heard with care and respect. My commitment is to walk alongside my clients with empathy, professional guidance, and genuine presence as they move toward greater clarity, healing, and self-discovery.

Dr. Armburst is a very thoughtful and kind person. She knows how to really make you think and break down the origin of those thoughts so you can build a better mindset. I really appreciate the time she takes in listening to me and helping me analyze my experiences. I look foreward to continue working with her on my healing journey.

She made me feel at ease right away. I’m not usually one to talk about me but she has me telling things I’ve never shared.
