About me

Have you been struggling with anxious thoughts, self doubts, and not knowing what direction to go in life? I work with clients who are dealing with these challenges in their lives including: anxiety, depression, relationship dynamics, and personal growth. My expertise centers on supporting individuals through social anxiety, life transitions, communication difficulties, and healing from past experiences. I help them develop the tools they need to build their self esteem, raise awareness, and gain insight about the reasons they were struggling in life, figuring out the purpose for their lives, and finding meaning in their relationship with others and their daily tasks.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step. I congratulate you on starting your journey and I am here to guide and support you to make it a meaningful therapeutic journey. As a licensed therapist in California, I specialize in working with individuals navigating life transition, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I take a client-centered, collaborative approach to therapy, and integrate different approaches including but not limited to Cognitive Behavior Therapy, EMDR (eye movement desensitization processing), and Existential therapy tailoring each session to your unique needs and goals.

I believe that therapy is a partnership. My therapeutic style emphasizes collaborative healing, meeting each client exactly where they are. I'm committed to creating a safe, affirming space that honors individual experiences and supports meaningful personal transformation. Whether you're struggling with stress, self-esteem, or seeking deeper self-understanding, I'm dedicated to walking alongside you with empathy and professional guidance. Together, we will identify and set goals that matter to you. As we continue working together, your goals may evolve as you gain more insight. Hannah Hoang has always been very professional from the start, while creating a safe and comfortable session. She has helped me gain insight and clarity in areas of my life that felt clouded. I highly recommend her sessions to those looking for a safe environment to work through life's challenges, especially when it comes to healing trauma from divorce and moving forward in life.
