Dr. Harriet Heath, Psychologist
About me
As a seasoned psychologist in Maine, I bring nearly five decades of experience supporting individuals through confusing and emotionally challenging life situations. My approach is to listen deeply— to let them tell me their concerns and where they are hurting. Together, we develop a plan to address the issues they identify as most important.
I specialize in relationship concerns, caregiver challenges, women’s experiences, and multicultural issues. My approach is compassionate and tailored to each person’s unique journey. Whether you're struggling with isolation, caregiving responsibilities, family dynamics, self-esteem difficulties, or significant life transitions, I offer a supportive and understanding space to explore your concerns.
My expertise spans trauma recovery, parenting support, midlife transitions, and complex family systems. I am committed to creating a collaborative environment where clients can reflect on their experiences, build coping skills, and discover meaning in their lives.

Dr. Heath has been extremely helpful as I process my grief after losing my beloved dog after 14 years. She is a very good listener, very empathetic, and being able to talk about the way I've been struggling with the loss has made it a little easier to bear. I would recommend Dr. Heath to anyone seeking a compassionate knowledgeable therapist.
