About Me

Hi! My name is Hayley Quinonez. I am a licensed professional counselor in Texas with over 5 years of experience working in the counseling field.
I have experience in working with clients involving a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, substance abuse issues, trauma, PTSD and self-esteem issues. I also have worked with people with borderline tendencies and bipolar disorder.

"Courage is contagious. Every time we choose courage, we make everyone around us a little better and the world a little braver." - Brene Brown

I truly believe that the healthiest people seek counseling. I also believe that it takes great courage and vulnerability to open up and share with another individual. I provide a safe, inviting, and comfortable atmosphere to be able to do just that. I am compassionate, empathetic, accepting and am here to support and empower my clients. Each of us are the expert in our own lives, and sometimes we need someone to walk alongside us to guide and encourage us through different seasons we find ourselves in. I use a variety of counseling techniques and approaches based on my clients individual and unique needs. Some of those techniques include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Client-Centered Therapy, Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and Narrative Therapy. My relationship with my clients have a foundation of respect and acceptance. I feel honored to have this job and look forward to getting to know you and walk through life's ups and downs with you!

Hayley is very professional and provides a lot of services to help her patients. Sadly our schedules couldn't match up, and made it difficult to have sessions. Highly recommended.

Hayley has helped me so much. I was in a much darker place. He has encouraged me and listen to me. I had no one to talk to but knowing that I had Hayley helped me have a better week each week.

Hayley is absolutely incredible. I'm a male that just hit 30 and has been experiencing all sorts of anxiety after being hit with and bouncing back from covid-19 symptoms. I came to BetterHelp to attempt to prevent that newfound anxiety from damaging some really important relationships in my life. Hayley helped me through all of that and much much more. She's incredibly knowledgeable, professional, kind, understanding, and empathetic. She listens, gives really insightful recommendations and feedback, and helps me make attainable goals. I'm really grateful that I have the experience to work with her and I recommend her strongly!

Hayley is so amazing!! She makes you feel heard and doesn’t make you feel crazy. She understands the concerns you are feeling and explains them more in depth so you understand what you are feeling! I know she is there to help me.

Hayley has been very thoughtful, patient, and has offered many options for dealing with each issue that arises. She’s respectful about any anxieties I have and always thanks me for my willingness to share. She makes sure I feel safe and comfortable before ending sessions and I am very grateful for her help.

Hayley is a great listener and provided me with many tools to use in my everyday life. I struggle with anxiety, depression, and self confidence issues. She pushed me to adopt a more positive way of thinking that I will continue to use for the rest of my life. I’m very thankful for Hayley!

Hayley really listens and helps give you tools for when you are struggling. She is down to earth and very nice which is what I needed, it is like talking with a friend who won't judge you.

Having Hayley to talk to is like having another friend that you can openly talk to. She is incredibly understanding and helpful. I noticed a change in my mood in just 2 weeks. I'm so thankful to have her as my therapist!
