Hello, I am a licensed professional counselor in the state of Alabama. My primary background is working with families and helping guide individuals as they find themselves and their place in this world. After working as a therapist for 15+ years, I moved to Los Angeles and I studied further into psychological research and earned a PhD in psychology. My focus of study was on relationships and connecting with others via online venues. This has broadened my expertise and reignited my passion for counseling with others.
Since returning to Alabama, I continue to participate in research and I am also doing what I love - counseling. I have extensive training in cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-focused therapy, and client-centered therapy. The approach I prefer to use is an eclectic style, drawing from multiple therapies as needed and tweaking them to be a best fit for the client in their particular situation. I enjoy working with others and supporting them in their journey as they go through life. I have a faith-based perspective, which I can incorporate into our sessions or not based on your preference.
I enjoy researching how people use online spaces, such as games and apps, to meet and develop relationships and support systems. Developing grounded theories and discovering processes is my passion. I am a mom, wife, daughter, mental health advocate, researcher, crafter, gamer, and I love learning about things different from myself and what I know. I enjoy anything new, such as experiences, foods, restaurants, ideas, games, cultures, languages, or activities. My personal style of interacting is non-judgmental, honest, and genuine.
I look forward to hearing about the current adventures and challenges that you are in and helping you to develop a plan to live out your most authentic self and get the results you want out of life.

Dr.Bryant is an awesome therapist. We’ve only had one call session and messaged some but I already feel a connection with her that I haven’t felt with a therapist before and I’ve had quite a few. I feel like I’ve finally found a good match that has great feedback. I don’t feel like I’m just paying to be heard. I’m paying to be heard and to get great advice and to be encouraged to be my best self and respect myself. I would recommend her to anyone.
Dr. Bryant is all about making progress identifying and tackling issues head on. She is also very empathetic and insightful. She is very committed to ensuring that I have all the tools that she can provide to help me in my journey. Also she is available and very accessible throughout the day. I’m very pleased that I am working with Dr. Bryant she is a huge asset to BetterHelp!
She really puts me at ease and makes me feel like it’s truly ok to express whatever is on my mind with her and I like that.
Dr. Bryant is very thoughtful, professional, and kind. She also makes me laugh which is much needed. I am a mental health professional as well and I needed a therapist who understands and also who lets things be light-hearted when I need a break from all of the emotional depth. I really enjoy our conversations and look forward to my responses from her and my live sessions!
She’s so great. Period. That’s all there is to say. Advice is great and she understands me well. She never judges me and makes that very well known. 10/10 recommend.
I would recommend Dr. Bryant to others. She is very responsive and she listens to what I am saying, I enjoy talking with her. I feel safe in sharing private circumstances with her. She is supportive and helps me to work through my confusing thoughts.
